Well, I found a picture (in progress) of the shell I just finished. No finished picture till later. I'm posting it in progress, it has changed considerably - the shadows are more defined - cast shadow as well as shadows within the shell. The values are also more defined in the finished picture. It has been difficult capturing the shadows I wanted - changing light.... Also - finding the lyrical color I was looking for in all aspects. This one is 8x8". Oil on canvas.
