Pink Hollyhock, 6x6" oil on canvas
Yes... I have been at work in my studio, although it has been difficult be consistent these last few weeks due to many other demands. Here's a small painting that is a preparation for a larger one to be done. I thought the colors in the center and the white veining was really beautiful!

What a beautful hollyhock. Here in Georgia, I love riding in the country and spotting an old farmstead with tall, colorful hollyhocks growing by the fence.
Hollyhocks are one of my favorite cottage flowers. They are so charming, and always remind me of home. You've captured the essence very well, with that tinge of purple in the center and all the veining in the petals.
