Snowy Egret once again

Knee Deep - Snowy Egret, 7 x 11.5" watercolor/acrylic on paper

Well, this month is just flying by - and its always one of the busiest months of the year.
As a high school teacher - there is the semester to bring to a close, final projects to grade, students to prod, graduation and year end activities, and year end stuff which must be done.
I have not had enough time to work in my studio, so...
I'm reposting some older posts!

This one is an interesting use of color in a very broken style of application, which gives a textural feel and allows the eye to blend color!
This one is ready to mat and frame.

Helen, this is just so beautiful! I often see the herons flying overhead out here as there are many waterways nearby. I don't see the white ones too often, mostly the gray or blue, but they are all just so beautiful. And loud!

Hope you enjoy the final days of the school year and I so look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you so much! I don't see the white ones here often either. I took the reference picture for this one in South Carolina right along the coast - they were plentiful there! Thanks so much for stopping by!
