Ovis, 12x12" Watercolor on paper

I don't think I've ever posted art by another artist on my blog before, but I am very happy to introduce an artist near and dear to my heart, my daughter - Wendolyn Nelson. She is an art major in her last year of college. I always enjoy the freedom of her work! So, I'm sharing it with you! I hope you enjoy!

Helen, you are one more proof to my theory that there is indeed an artist gene. In every family, every generation, it seems to be passed down. My oldest daughter (she is 28) is a phenomenal artist, much better than I could ever hope to be. I wish she'd do it professionally because I think she could make money. She has a unique point of view with her work too.
Your daughter's work is terrific! Beautiful color on those horns.
Thank you, Crimson Leaves! I think I agree with you about the artistic gene! I know I can trace it through my family history... and now I'm seeing it go forward into the next generation! Pretty cool!
Its fun to see what our kids can do with the gifts they have received!
